Car Crashes into Restaurant Wall and Catches Fire; Injuries Reported
On May 18, at 11:53 AM, the Crisis Management National Center received an alert regarding a traffic accident on the road from Tevosyan Street to Jrvaj Village, which involved a fire and resulted in injuries.
A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry of Armenia was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a "Kia" vehicle veered off the roadway on Tevosyan Street, crashed into the wall of a nearby restaurant, and caught fire. Both the driver and a passenger were hospitalized.
Before the arrival of the emergency responders, the fire was extinguished by local efforts, with the engine compartment of the vehicle being the only part that burned.
