U.S. President Donald Trump previously stated that he might call Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. This was reported by CNN.

While speaking to reporters after departing from Abu Dhabi, the U.S. president said, “We must meet, and we will meet.”

According to Trump, a meeting is necessary to grasp the real picture. “I believe we will resolve this, and if not, at least we will understand the true situation. Even if we cannot find a solution, it will still be very interesting,” Trump added.
