It Depends on Pakistan's Behavior: India's Defense Minister
The Indian Armed Forces have postponed attacks on Pakistani military personnel. New Delhi is prepared to revert to its previous course of action depending on Islamabad's behavior. This was stated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"India has halted strikes against Pakistan and will act according to Pakistan's actions," Modi emphasized.
It is worth noting that relations between India and Pakistan have deteriorated following a terrorist attack near the town of Pahalgam in India's Jammu and Kashmir region on April 22. The attack resulted in the deaths of 25 Indians and one Nepali. India blames Pakistan for the assault but denies any involvement.
On May 7, the Indian Ministry of Defense announced that it had executed Operation 'Sindhur', targeting "terrorist infrastructure" located in Pakistan. On May 10, the two countries agreed to cease all shelling and military operations on land, in the air, and at sea.
