Former CPP Members Propose New Prime Minister Candidate

Former members of the "Civil Contract" faction, Hakob Aslanyan and Hovik Aghazaryan, have proposed Edmond Marukyan as a candidate for Prime Minister.

As a member of the MASCK board, I am authorized to announce that the board decided to entrust National Assembly deputies Hakob Aslanyan and Hovik Aghazaryan with the task of proposing Edmond Marukyan, a former ambassador with special assignments and the leader of the Light Armenia party, as the Prime Minister candidate within the framework of the motion of no confidence against the current Prime Minister in the National Assembly,” Aghazaryan wrote.
