When Will the Rain Stop? Weather in Armenia

On May 15, and during the night of the 16th, sporadic rain and thunderstorms are expected across the territory of the Republic of Armenia. In some areas, heavy rain and possible hail are anticipated. On the evenings of May 18-19, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in certain regions. The afternoon of May 16 and the 17th is expected to be dry without any precipitation. This information comes from the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

It is noted that during thunderstorms, wind speeds may increase to 18-23 m/s. The air temperature is expected to drop by another 2-4 degrees on May 15, gradually rising by 6-9 degrees on the 16th-18th.

In Yerevan as well, sporadic rain and thunderstorms are expected on May 15 and the night of the 16th, with heavy rainfall in some areas. Wind speeds during thunderstorms may reach 15-18 m/s. The daytime on May 16 and from the 17th-19th is anticipated to be dry.

The agency warns that heavy rainfall of thunderstorm nature, hail, and wind gusts are expected in some places, including Yerevan. On the afternoon of May 15, temperatures in the capital will range from 15 to 17 degrees, dropping to +13...+15 degrees in the evening.
