Putin does not respect Trump and Erdogan. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a press conference after his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, according to Turkish media.

“If Putin is ready for a ceasefire, we need to meet. We are here in Ankara, but he is neither here nor in Istanbul. We can’t run around the world after him,” said the Ukrainian president.

According to him, the Ukrainian delegation has already left Ankara for Istanbul to conduct negotiations with Russia. At the same time, Zelensky warned that if Russia does not show a real desire to end the war, Ukraine will ask the US and the EU to impose tough sanctions against Russia.
