Verbal Assaults and a Cowardly Escape: Simonian

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, made a post on his social media page regarding an incident that took place in the parliament yesterday.

"So, a couple of words about yesterday: Well, my colleagues and users of the Internet have said so much about Kocharian’s son and his group that it’s hard to add anything at this moment. It is truly ridiculous that the 'boy of the warrior' dares to boast at my expense when I am not in the chamber and not even in the country! Even more ridiculous and pathetic is hiding behind Armenouhi Kyureghyan and Anna Grigoryan, hurling sexual insults, and then running away from the hall. By the way, it’s interesting how those women felt when their defender was shouting sexual insults right next to them. The media, which belongs to Kocharian's entire family and feeds off the stolen and looted 'just' millions of dollars, are showing their true colors, claiming that Kocharian’s grandparents are not Turkish, nor Albanian, without realizing that nobody cares about that anymore and that they are foreign to Armenia. Meanwhile, they are trying to create a heroic image of little Kocharian, who uttered obscene sexual insults in front of women in the half-court chamber, then hid behind women and fled. And the regime is simply plunged into panic afterwards.

Most importantly, I want to apologize to the Armenian people for such scenes, insults, and the foreign elements that still exist in our parliament," he wrote.
