The Entire National Assembly Insulted a Person's Lineage, I Can Also Reference People: Rustamyan

I have seen everything, but I have never witnessed such depravity; I cannot find another word to describe it. This was stated by Armenian National Assembly Deputy Armen Rustamyan during a conversation with journalists, referring to yesterday's incident in the parliament.

The authority does not even understand that, besides the conversation we are having among ourselves, others are listening, and probably giving the most disgraceful descriptions of this parliament and these authorities. The authorities do not understand their responsibility. They must do everything to curb such incidents, but they have probably received instructions now that elections are approaching. Perhaps a prize has been set for whoever can utter the most forceful insults,” the deputy stated.

He noted that Levon Kocharian has maintained a very correct demeanor. “I am even surprised that he has been able to endure so much. What has been said against him is something that not everyone can bear. But can the entire National Assembly insult a person's lineage, and this be done by the deputy speaker? Who has seen such a thing? I can also say as much as I want by referencing people,” the deputy concluded.
