Russia Sends Low-Level Delegation, Says Reiter
In Istanbul, during negotiations with Ukraine, Russia is represented by a low-level delegation, stated NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference following an informal meeting of the alliance's foreign ministers in Antalya.
“Russia has sent a low-level delegation,” he announced.
It is noteworthy that the Russian delegation in the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Turkey is led by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, who previously headed the Russian negotiation team in Istanbul in the spring of 2022. The delegation also includes Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin.
According to media reports, the Ukrainian delegation consists of Head of the Zelensky Office Andriy Yermak, Deputy Head of the Office Ihor Zhovkva, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
