Nuclear Facility Bombing Will Not Occur: Iran Agrees to Our Conditions, Trump
US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States and Iran are close to reaching an agreement regarding Tehran's nuclear program. This was reported by TASS.
"You have probably already read that Iran has agreed to conditions under which we will exhibit a friendly approach and will not create radioactive dust in Iran, meaning that nuclear facility bombing will not occur. I want everything to be well for them. Iran is a great country, but it cannot have nuclear weapons. That is clear. No 30-page document, just one sentence: they cannot have nuclear weapons. I think we are close to a deal. We are in very serious negotiations with Iran to establish long-term peace," Trump said.
The White House chief added that he would like to resolve the crisis surrounding the Iranian nuclear program "in a reasonable, not a harsh manner." Trump also indicated that he does not wish to resort to "unprecedented violence" and prefers "the right path."
Additionally, the United States and Iran, with mediation from Oman, have held four rounds of negotiations to address disagreements over the Islamic Republic's nuclear program.
