Former and Current Officials of the Community Council Arrested

In the framework of an investigation by the Anti-Corruption Committee, several officials have been arrested. Auroranews was informed about this by the spokesperson of the Anti-Corruption Committee, Marina Ohanyan.

“Eleven individuals have been arrested on suspicion of giving and receiving bribes in the framework of the investigation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee, three of whom are officials from the Shengavit community council,” added the spokesperson of the Anti-Corruption Committee.

The press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor, Hayk Kostanyan, also commented on the arrests: “Eleven individuals have been arrested on charges of receiving and giving bribes in the framework of the investigation by the Anti-Corruption Committee, and currently, only one of them is an active employee of the Shengavit administrative district.”
