French Leader Condemns: Netanyahu's Office Responds Harshly

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has criticized French President Emmanuel Macron, who condemned the actions of Israeli authorities in the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu's office has claimed that the French leader is reproducing the narratives of the radical Palestinian movement and slandering the Jewish state.

Recently, Macron referred to Israel's actions in Gaza, particularly those of Netanyahu, as a 'disgrace' during a broadcast on TF1, drawing attention to the lack of access to water, medicine, and medical assistance for residents of the enclave. The French president called for the restoration of humanitarian aid access for the people in Gaza, the demilitarization of Hamas, the release of hostages, and the initiation of a long-term political resolution process for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which includes the establishment of two mutually-recognized states.

In response to these calls, Netanyahu's office stated: 'Prime Minister Netanyahu is firmly determined to achieve all of Israel's war objectives — to free all our hostages, to eliminate Hamas's military and administrative capabilities, and to ensure that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel.'
