Baku Calls on Delhi to Be Careful Not to Misinterpret Armenian-Azerbaijani Relations
Official Baku is urging Delhi to "be careful and not misinterpret the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations." This statement was made by Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiev while commenting on the recent tensions between India and Pakistan and Baku's unconditional support for Islamabad.
“Azerbaijan's perspective on the Pakistan-India conflict is based on the norms of international law. India and other third countries should be cautious regarding the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, which are currently in a 'fragile' phase. We expect all states, including India, to refrain from taking any specific steps that could harm the Armenian-Azerbaijani resolution process,” the Azerbaijani diplomat stated.
The Azerbaijani diplomat expressed discontent regarding an article from The Times of India, which reported that Armenia, the USA, and France had become the largest importers of Indian defense products in the 2023-2024 financial year.
