No Compromise on This Matter and It Is Not Subject to Discussion: Iranian Foreign Ministry

The fifth round of negotiations between Iran and the United States regarding the Iranian nuclear program will take place in about a week. This was announced by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"The Iranian nuclear program is the main topic of negotiations between Iran and the United States. From our perspective, uranium enrichment is a matter that must continue, and there is no room for compromise on this issue. It is possible that its expression, scale, volume, and percentage could be limited for a certain period to build trust, as it was before. But the principle of uranium enrichment is certainly not open for discussion. The same applies to the issue of sanctions. Our goal and intention in the negotiations are, of course, the removal of sanctions. In any case, the removal of sanctions is one of the foundations of our negotiations. As I said, we are now much closer to each other on contentious issues. In any case, we understand each other better now. From our perspective, our position is now quite clear to our adversaries, and I hope that in the future, we will make greater progress if Allah wills," said the Iranian Foreign Minister.
