Border Areas of India Bombarded
The Indian Army announces the successful downing of Pakistani drones in the border areas, as well as the effective repulsion of enemy assaults. This was reported by the press service of the Indian Ministry of Defense, as cited by RIA Novosti.
“During the night, the Pakistani armed forces launched multiple attacks across the entire length of the Western border using drones and other munitions. The drone attacks were effectively repelled, and a worthy response was given,” the statement reads.
It is worth noting that tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after a terrorist attack near the town of Pahalgam in India’s Jammu and Kashmir region on April 22. The assault by the terrorists resulted in the deaths of 25 Indians and one Nepalese citizen. India has stated that it has evidence of the involvement of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in the attack. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has denied India's accusations linking Islamabad to the Kashmir terrorist attack.
