Ukrainian Ambassador Thanks Aliyev for Not Attending Moscow Parade

The Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Yuri Gusev, has expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for his decision not to participate in the Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 9.
This statement was made by the Ukrainian ambassador on the social media platform X. “We are very grateful, Mr. President, for not participating in the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. We appreciate your decision,” Gusev wrote.
It is worth noting that Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian President, had previously announced that President Ilham Aliyev would not attend the Victory parade scheduled to take place in Moscow on May 9.
