Military Operations Cease, Says Peskov

The initiative by Russian President Vladimir Putin to declare a ceasefire in honor of the victory anniversary remains in effect. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, as reported by TASS.

"Yes, the Russian side's initiative by President Putin remains in effect," Peskov stated. He added that Russia has declared a ceasefire on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Victory Day. "During this period, all military operations will be halted," he noted.
