Aliyev Will Not Travel to Moscow, Ushakov
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, will not travel to Moscow for the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory. This was announced by Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, according to TASS.
"We received a message that Aliyev will not be arriving, unfortunately. The Azerbaijani side has informed us that the president is supposed to participate in domestic events dedicated to Heydar Aliyev," Ushakov stated.
The visit of the leader of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith, to Moscow has also been canceled. He will miss the events due to the coronavirus infection.
