Hail Expected: Weather in Armenia

On May 6, in many regions of the Republic of Armenia, intermittent showers and thunderstorms are expected after noon, with heavy rain possible in some places on May 5-6. This information is reported by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.

On May 6, and on May 8-10, hail is anticipated in certain areas. May 7 is expected to be precipitation-free.

During thunderstorms, winds may intensify, reaching speeds of 18-22 m/s. The temperature is gradually expected to rise by 4-7 degrees from May 7 to May 10.

In Yerevan, showers and thunderstorms are anticipated intermittently on May 6, with possible brief rain and thunder on the evenings of May 8-10, and heavy rain on May 5-6. Wind gusts during thunderstorms may reach 15-18 m/s.

On May 7, there is expected to be dry weather. The day temperature on May 6 in the capital will be between 19-21 degrees, while in the evening it will drop to +13...+15 degrees.
