Stop Entering Animal Territory with Drones for Beautiful Shots

Today I saw a video where someone flew a drone very close to a bear, and the poor creature was scared and ran away. For a long time, I wanted to write about this, but I thought perhaps after one or two incidents, people would stop. However, I see that this is happening continuously, and moreover, newcomers and beginners are following the experienced ones and repeating the same mistakes.

Drone-flying friends, hiking enthusiasts, please stop entering nature with drones to chase animals. Stop flying drones into the territory of storks, bears, and other wildlife for beautiful shots.

Years ago, I filmed horses once and later realized that I stressed them out just for my own ego. To be honest, all of you already have enough beautiful footage from the wild. There is no need to constantly disturb them over and over again.

Talk to specialists; they will explain how dangerous the sound and presence of drones can be for wild animals. Many animals perceive it as a sign of danger, and for example, birds may abandon their nests out of fear.

If you want to photograph wildlife, do it like Bertha does— from a distance, with a telephoto lens, without disturbing them. With all due respect.
