Arthur Chakhoyan Released from Hospital
Arthur Chakhoyan, an activist who was recently assaulted by the head of the Nor Nork community, has been released from the hospital. This information was provided to NEWS.am by Mesrop Manukyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council’s 'Mother Armenia' faction.
Recall that on the morning of April 30, a brawl occurred at the Nor Nork community hall, where employees, including the community head, assaulted activist Arthur Chakhoyan. The Yerevan Municipality, commenting on the incident, stated that any form of violence is unacceptable, emphasizing that violence is not limited to physical harm.
It is noteworthy that the day before the brawl, Arthur Chakhoyan and Mesrop Manukyan had staged a protest at the community hall, declaring that this was a response to an incident in which community head Tigran Ter-Margaryan cursed at them over the phone.
Later, Tigran Ter-Margaryan, a member of the 'Republic' party, remarked that he felt it was right to have insulted them.
