Erdogan on Turkey's New Projects
Turkey plans to start importing natural gas from Turkmenistan through a pipeline crossing the Caspian Sea floor within five years. This was announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Since March of this year, we have already been transporting Turkmen gas to Turkey via Iranian territory,” Erdogan stated. During this period, 250 million cubic meters of gas have been supplied through this route, and by the end of the year, the volume is expected to reach 1.3 billion cubic meters.
