Trump Calls for an End to Iranian Oil Purchases

US President Donald Trump has called for an immediate halt to all purchases of Iranian oil and petrochemical products. Trump warned that violators would be barred from conducting transactions with the United States 'in any form.'

'All purchases of Iranian oil or petrochemical products must be immediately halted. Any country or individual buying oil or petrochemical products from Iran will face immediate secondary sanctions,' he wrote.
