Power Outages in Yerevan and Surrounding Regions

The Armenian Electric Networks company has announced that on May 2, scheduled maintenance work will temporarily disrupt electricity supply in several addresses across Yerevan and surrounding regions.

In Yerevan's Arabkir district, electricity will be cut off from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the following locations: 70/2 and 74 Zoarapi St.; 12-14 Riga St.; and 41-139 Kochari St. Additionally, buildings 37/7 to 39/8 on Acharian St. will also be affected.

In the Malatia-Sebastia district, power outages will occur from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Lukashini St. (1, 2, and 3) and adjacent areas to the North-South highway.

From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Erebuni district, electricity will be unavailable for residents on 3rd Achemian Lane and adjacent non-residential subscribers, as well as on Achemian St., 2nd Achemian Lane, Artsakh St., and 2nd Artsakh Lane, among others.

In the Nor Nork district, power will be shut down from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM affecting 2nd Zang on Nor Nork, partially on Moldovan St., Totoventsi St., Gayi Blvd., and Bagrevandi St. This will also impact the local trade college, special school number 17, and several kindergartens and pre-schools (103, 104, 252) and adjacent non-residential subscribers.

In the Armavir region, power will be out from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the villages of Aygek and Baghramyan.

In the Ararat region, the outage will occur in Vedi city (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM) around the lands of the Forestry Department and adjacent non-residential subscribers, as well as in the villages of Yeghgnavan, Lusarat, and Berkayun (10:00 AM to 1:30 PM) affecting nearby non-residential subscribers.

In Kotayk region, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM the entire area of Yeghvard's Forestry Department and adjacent non-residential subscribers will be without power; in Abovyan city, power will be out from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Student district, dormitories, and a supermarket. Partial outages will occur in Dzoraghbyur village, as well as in Kaputan, Hatis, and Zovashen villages from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

In Gegharkunik region, there will be no electricity from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the villages of Shorja and Artanish, and from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM in the entire Vardenik dwelling area and adjacent non-residential subscribers.

In Tavush region, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, power will be cut in Dilijan city on Sayat-Nova, Mkitarian, Hakobjanian, Myasnikian, and Students' streets and in parts of the Takhta district and the Tbilisi Highway.

Finally, in Lori region, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, partial outages will affect the city of Spitak, as well as the villages of Saramej and Jrashen.
