We Are Expecting China's Leader, Peskov

The President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, will participate in the 80th Victory Day celebrations in Moscow on May 9. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.

“We are expecting the Chinese leader. President Xi Jinping will have a separate visit. We attach great importance to this visit and are preparing for it,” Peskov announced.

It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously stated during a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in the Kremlin that President Xi Jinping would be the main guest in Russia in May.
