“The matters related to heroic pages are extremely important. This, of course, is a very crucial component of our inner world. Russia is people, not just land,” the president said.

He emphasized the significance of artists working in various genres reflecting on the theme of heroism. Putin also noted that there are many interesting and important aspects of peaceful life—elements that Russia took pride in in the past and will take pride in the future.
