According to data from the World Bank and Statista, Azerbaijan has the highest child mortality rates among its neighbors and compared to European countries.

The data indicates that the perinatal mortality rate in Azerbaijan has reached 16.2 per 1,000 live births. These figures remain significantly higher than in neighboring countries and in Europe.
