Iran's Foreign Ministry on Negotiations with the US

Negotiations between the US and Iran regarding the resolution of the nuclear program crisis are continuing in a serious atmosphere. This was announced by the official representative of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghaei.

"Indirect negotiations between Iran and the US are ongoing in a serious atmosphere. The parties are exchanging positions and views through Omani mediators regarding both the effective lifting of sanctions and reinforcing confidence in the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program, as well as the protection of Iran's right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy," the diplomat wrote.

The third round of negotiations between the US and Iran began on Saturday in Muscat. Alongside high-level political negotiations, technical consultations among experts are taking place in the Omani capital to discuss the details of a potential agreement concerning the nuclear program.
