I Am Ready to Defend the Country: Prime Minister of Pakistan

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has stated that he is ready to defend the country following a deadly attack in Indian-administered Kashmir. He has called for a neutral investigation into the incident, while India has accused Pakistan of supporting cross-border terrorism after militants carried out one of the most brutal attacks on the Muslim-majority region in the last quarter-century against civilians.

It is noteworthy that Islamabad has denied its involvement in the attack that occurred on April 22 in Pahalgam, which resulted in the deaths of 26 individuals.
