Russia is ready for an agreement aimed at resolving the situation in Ukraine, but there are certain elements that still need to be finalized. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with CBS News.

“The US President believes, and I think he is right. We are moving in the right direction. The President's statement mentioned an agreement, and we are ready to achieve that. But there are certain points and elements that need to be addressed. We are currently engaged in that process,” said Lavrov.

Denying the accusations of attacks on civilian facilities in Ukraine, Lavrov concluded: “We target only military facilities or those civilian objects that are used for military purposes. If the targets have been used by the Ukrainian armed forces, the Ministry of Defense and the local command have the right to strike.”
