We Are Determined: Official Representative of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs seeks to see the readiness of the United States for a fair and realistic agreement during indirect negotiations in Oman. This was announced by Esmail Baghaei, the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

He reported that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the accompanying delegation have arrived in Muscat to participate in the third round of Iran-U.S. negotiations, which is being facilitated by Oman’s Foreign Minister.

“We are determined to defend the legal and rightful rights of the Iranian people for the peaceful use of nuclear energy, and at the same time, we are prepared to take reasonable steps to provide guarantees regarding the exclusively peaceful nature of our nuclear program. It is a priority for us to objectively and swiftly end the illegal and inhumane sanctions against the Iranian people. It remains to be seen how serious the other side is and whether they are prepared to reach a fair and realistic agreement,” said Esmail Baghaei.
