Ushakov Reveals Details of Putin and Witkoff Meeting

Yuri Ushakov, the assistant to the President of Russia, has spoken about the negotiations that took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Special Representative of the US President Stephen Witkoff at the Kremlin.

According to Ushakov, the recent meeting has brought the positions of the Russian Federation and the United States closer regarding not only the issue of Ukraine.

"This conversation allowed us to bring the positions of Russia and the United States closer not only on Ukraine but also on a number of other international issues," noted the Russian leader's assistant.

Ushakov mentioned that Putin and Witkoff discussed the possibility of resuming direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. He emphasized that the three-hour meeting was constructive.
