Kremlin Responds to Question on Intervening in India-Pakistan Conflict
Julya
India and Pakistan have not approached Russia for assistance in resolving their conflict. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, to TASS.
“There have been no such requests,” Peskov replied when asked whether Russia is prepared to assist in resolving the conflict.
It is noteworthy that relations between the two nuclear powers have deteriorated following a terrorist attack in India’s Jammu and Kashmir region on April 22, which resulted in the deaths of 25 people as armed militants fired upon tourists.
