Zelensky Seems to Deliberately Draw the US In, Says Zakharova

Kiev, violating the Easter ceasefire, seems to be attempting to "draw" the US in by using American weapons. This statement was made by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a weekly briefing.

"The Ukrainian armed forces violated the 30-day moratorium (on strikes against energy infrastructure). The Kiev regime also breached the 30-hour Easter ceasefire declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin," she noted.

Zakharova added that according to data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, there were 4,900 violations recorded by the Ukrainian armed forces within just 30 hours. "In addition to thousands of artillery strikes, Ukrainian Nazis used 90 drones, bombarding the Kursk region with rocket fire from the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system. Zelensky seems to be deliberately 'drawing' in, including the Americans, by using American weapons during the Easter holidays," Zakharova emphasized.
