Erdogan Issues Statement After Earthquake

In his first statement regarding the earthquakes, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed words of support for the citizens of Turkey. This was reported by NTV.
“We are closely monitoring the development of events,” he added regarding the situation that has arisen.
The Turkish Ministry of Interior reported that there have been no building collapses as a result of the earthquakes.
It is noteworthy that two strong earthquakes occurred consecutively in Istanbul.
