If They Hadn't Fought, Would There Be Peace? Andranik Kocharyan

Who hasn't fought? If they hadn't fought, and if our people, our entire defense system hadn't been engaged in addressing the challenges we faced, would there be peace? Would there have been November 9? This was stated today by Andranik Kocharyan, the Chairman of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee.

He referred to Khachatur Sukiasyan's statement asserting that the people of Artsakh did not fight.

“November 9 is a result of the fact that we did not allow the adversary to capitalize on their successes by incurring losses, and we avoided potentially catastrophic situations,” he said.

When discussing how he generally evaluates the statements made by National Assembly member Khachatur Sukiasyan, Andranik Kocharyan mentioned, “Khachatur Sukiasyan has removed the scale of speculation that followed his previous comments by correcting the number he had previously stated. I have seen the reactions there have been. Continuously seeking a storm in a glass of water will not lead us to a good place.”
