Storm in Azerbaijan

The natural disaster has caused several problems in Azerbaijan's capital. Power supply disruptions and malfunctions in traffic lights have been reported in some streets and boulevards.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that since yesterday, operations have been underway to eliminate the consequences of the rain. As part of these measures, 20 citizens, including 3 children, have been evacuated from flooded areas, and efforts to pump out water, evacuate citizens, and ensure safety are ongoing.

Due to the accumulation of rainwater, traffic has been restricted in several areas of the city.
