On the Verge of Something Very Important for the World: Witkoff

Negotiations for resolving the conflict in Ukraine are "on the verge of something important." This was stated by U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Negotiations, Steve Witkoff, in an interview with Fox News.

"I think we are on the verge of something that will be very important for the world on a global scale," he said.

According to him, discussions are moving beyond territorial issues. Within the framework of a peace agreement, there are talks about security guarantees and also about Ukraine's plans to renounce NATO membership.

On April 11, a meeting took place in St. Petersburg between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. Special Envoy Witkoff.
