Netanyahu Rejects Macron's Proposal

During the conversation, the Israeli leader "categorically rejected the idea of creating a Palestinian state, emphasizing that such a decision would serve as a significant impetus for terrorism." According to the office, Netanyahu reminded the French president that no Palestinian leader, including the leadership of the Palestinian Authority, has condemned the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel by the Palestinian Hamas movement.

Netanyahu stated that the overwhelming majority of Israelis are vehemently opposed to such a prospect, reflecting his consistent and long-term stance.
