US President Donald Trump has stated to reporters at the White House that he expects "very good offers" in the near future to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. The American leader made the corresponding announcement during a meeting with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, as reported by TASS.

"I believe that very soon you will have very good offers," he said.

It is noteworthy that on April 11, a meeting took place in St. Petersburg between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the US President's special envoy, Vitkov. The negotiations were held behind closed doors, with reporters only allowed in for a handshake greeting. Before meeting with the Russian leader, Vitkov had discussions with Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund described the negotiations with the US President's special envoy as effective.
