The US Must Assess This, Says Iran's Foreign Ministry

The US must understand that Iran has engaged in negotiations despite Washington's ongoing aggressive rhetoric towards Tehran. This was stated by Esmail Baghai, the official representative of the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry.

“With complete seriousness and obvious caution, we are giving diplomacy a real chance. The US should assess this decision, which was made despite its dominant aggressive rhetoric. We do not expect... We do not predict,” he wrote on X.

According to Baghai, the Iranian side intends to evaluate Washington's position in the negotiations on Saturday and will then respond.
