Tigran Hakobyan on Deepfake Nude Images of Women

We will face serious problems with what is referred to as 'deepfake,' very serious problems. This was stated by Tigran Hakobyan, the Chairman of the Republic of Armenia's Television and Radio Commission, during a press briefing.

“In several countries, it is punishable by law if you use a 'deepfake' to publish a nude image of your wife; you could face up to 8 years in prison. Tomorrow, this will enter the political arena; you will see how beautiful images are created of our political figures, and our society not only accepts all this but also believes in it. In the future, this will have devastating consequences,” said Hakobyan.
