Number of Individuals Wanted for Avoiding Draft

In 2024, a total of 10,910 individuals were wanted under Article 461 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (avoiding military service or draft), with 561 being located. This information was noted in the 2024 activity report of the Prosecutor General's Office.

For comparison, in 2023, the same article had 11,492 individuals wanted, with only 398 identified. Thus, the number of wanted individuals has decreased by 582 in 2024; however, the number of detected cases has increased by 163, representing a 41% rise in detection rate.
