US Awaits Russia's Actions: Rubio

In the coming weeks, we will find out whether Russia is ready to end the war. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a press conference, as reported by RBC Ukraine.

“We are currently finding solutions. Soon, in weeks—not months—we will know whether Russia is ready for peace. If so, we can end the war,” he added.

According to Rubio, Trump wishes to end the war as soon as possible. However, this can only be achieved under terms acceptable to both sides.

“If there is a noticeable strategy from Russia to delay, that does not interest us; Trump cannot participate in negotiations indefinitely. We will soon find out if Russia is ready for peace. If yes, that's great; if not, we need to reassess our position and our actions,” Rubio said.

The Secretary of State emphasized that Ukraine has already demonstrated its readiness for both a ceasefire and negotiations. Now, the U.S. is waiting for Russia not just to speak, but to act.
