The international organization Freedom House is concluding its operations in Armenia, as announced by Andranik Shirinyan, a representative of a human rights organization in Armenia.
“After more than four incredible years, my journey with Freedom House in Armenia comes to an end, as the organization wraps up its work here. It has been an honor to lead during some of the hardest times and stand alongside such inspiring partners, friends, and human rights defenders,” wrote Shirinyan.
Freedom House is a U.S.-based public organization funded by the U.S. government and the State Department, which conducts research and advocacy related to democracy, political freedom, and human rights.
