Who Should Teach Us? We Must Teach Ourselves, Says Pashinyan
“We should stop sanctifying ourselves. As members of the government, we must take steps to learn better. They shouldn’t submit job applications filled with spelling mistakes,” said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.
“I have often said during government meetings, let’s hold training sessions. We think we know everything. No one from the government has told me about any training sessions so far; otherwise, like a diligent student, I would have gone and sat in. No one has thought of this, because we think we know everything,” the Prime Minister remarked.
Pashinyan added that simply being in the government room does not mean one knows everything. “Just because we are in the government room doesn’t mean we know everything. Who is supposed to teach us? We must teach ourselves, and that’s exactly the problem that has persisted in this room for decades,” he concluded.
