The Deputy Prime Minister Confirmed: There Will Be No Return of the '40+10' Benefits
Following a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan at the government building, it became clear that there will be no return of the '40+10' benefits. Prior to the meeting, former Human Rights Defender of Artsakh Artaq Beglaryan stated that the return of homeland is their strategic goal, but at the moment, the most urgent issue is keeping the people of Artsakh in Armenia under dignified conditions.
This involves various aspects, including housing, employment, and a number of other projects. 'At a minimum, our internal issues should be discussed and resolved. The people of Artsakh are fighting not for financial assistance, but for dignified and stable living conditions, as well as effective employment programs. Under the creation of main conditions, we ourselves will be able to solve our problems,' said Beglaryan.
Additionally, during the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, they expressed readiness to continue discussions with representatives of the headquarters regarding housing and social programs, but are not planning to retract the decision to discontinue the benefits.
