Real Opportunity to Force Russia to Cease Fire: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking about a ceasefire, indicated how much time is needed to align agreements with Russia. This was reported by 24 Kanal.

“A ceasefire with the aggressor country, Russia, could occur in the coming weeks or months. I believe we have the opportunity to force Russia to cease fire,” the President stated.

He emphasized that a complete halt to military operations would give Ukraine the time to strengthen security guarantees, making a return to the hot phase of the conflict impossible. “A ceasefire is the biggest step towards ending the war, but it is not the end. Unfortunately, we are dealing with the Russians,” Zelensky added.
