Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has predicted the death of the European Union's economy against the backdrop of new tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. Medvedev commented on this in his Telegram channel, quoting a passage from ancient Chinese wisdom.
“Do not make noise. Following Lao Tzu’s immortal advice, it is worth sitting on the shore and waiting for the enemy’s corpse to float by. The decaying corpse of the European Union’s economy,” Medvedev wrote.
