Hysteria Attempts to Disrupt Dialogue, Says Zakharova

Kiev is attempting to disrupt the dialogue that has begun between Russia and the United States by launching attacks on Russian energy facilities. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“It is quite obvious that these attacks have no military significance. As noted by the Russian Ministry of Defense, all facilities are reliably protected, the consequences of incidents are addressed rapidly, and there is no threat to the population. But therein lies the intention of the Kiev regime: not to cause real damage, which is fundamentally impossible given the current state of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but to create an informational pretext for another wave of hysteria in the Western media and attempt to disrupt the dialogue that has begun between Moscow and Washington,” said Zakharova.
